Standoff 2 offers several game modes that are similar to those of Valve's famous shooter game. Standoff 2's controls are designed so you can play comfortably on your smartphone. On the left side of the screen, there's a virtual joystick with which you can move through the various settings. On the right side, there are buttons for shooting or reloading your weapon. If you slide your finger over the cursor area, you can move the crosshairs to aim at enemies.

The maps in Standoff 2 are based on those of the Counter-Strike saga, such as Dust 2, Italy, Train, Cache, Inferno, Overpass, and Mirage, among others. Available weapons include pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles. These weapons have the same names as in Counter-Strike, such as the famous AK-47, M4A1, AWP, Desert Eagle, Glock-18, USP-S, and many more.
